Challenging and varied repertoire in good company

Since the working language of the Tapiola Chamber Choir is Finnish, it must be said in all honesty that some knowledge of Finnish is almost essential for foreign choral singers wishing to join.

We are currently looking singers

What we offer:

• singing with and without an orchestra
  

What we require

Since our repertoire is demanding both musically (a cappella works) and vocally (orchestral works), we prefer prospective members to have

• extensive experience of singing in a choir, preferably in a chamber choir
• good music-reading skills
• (or to have had) singing lessons

Prospective members auditioning will be asked to sing a solo song (an accompanist is available) and sight-read a choral passage.
